L'Age d'or is an independent film production company founded in 2012 by Alfredo Fiorillo and Angela Prudenzi. The two partners have joined forces from different backgrounds – the first is a director, screenwriter and copywriter; the second is a journalist with a past in film distribution – but share a common objective: to devote themselves to the production of innovative films.

 

The main idea of L'Age d'or is to focus on the renewal of film production, without neglecting to recover tradition and thus to bring to light those distinctive elements that have allowed Italian cinema to be known worldwide, with particular reference to genres. Not surprisingly, the first project in development is a psychological thriller with a strong authorial imprint.

 

Our goal is clear: to make quality films aiming at the international market.

 

The company intends to turn its attention to the production of documentaries.

 

Our editorial project combines reality and fiction films in the belief that the boundary between the two is increasingly blurred, and that any up-to-date production company should devote itself to creating artwork, regardless of its genre, length, format.
